An Impact Path Analysis of Russo–Ukrainian Conflict on the World and Policy Response Based on the Input–Output Network

With the outbreak of Russo–Ukrainian conflict, serious economic and financial sanctions have been initiated against Russia by many nations led United States Europe. In age globalization, no countries can stand or fall alone. Which industries will shocks caused affect? How propagate through global system? this paper, we adopt input–output analysis complex network methods to explore an impact path conflict on world from regional, industrial, critical perspectives. The results show that (1) Russian development tends depend more interaction among domestic industries, so it has a certain compressive capacity sanctions. (2) There is high interdependence between China, Germany, States, France, South Korea. Sanctions cause quite direct serve these alongside Russia. (3) Industries such as Mining quarrying, energy production, Coke refined petroleum products, Chemical chemical Construction in are acting either center transforming resources, important suppliers consumers for adjacent with weak symmetry strong clustering, should be particularly analyzed. (4) Key play role German machinery equipment; States’ professional, scientific, technical activities; Chinese coke products Japanese construction industry. Finally, corresponding policy suggestions put forward.
